The Northmen
There is a history behind team “Northmen,” whose core team are men that play in the same pick-up-lacrosse league as Chris and Ryan Sanderson – two gentlemen who unfortunately and prematurely lost their lives. Chris Sanderson, a Philadelphia Wings coach and former player, died at age 38 to cancer and Ryan, 36 passed while in his sleep, cause still unknown.
The men’s league continues to grow and thrive in Robbinsville, NJ because of these gentlemen. The name “Northmen” is the name of the team that both the Sanderson’s played on while growing up in Orangeville, Canada.
